What Terra Hale is.

Terra Hale is a press-endorsed private training studio in Notting Hill and Chelsea, built for people who’ve decided to take their body seriously, and want to do it out of the way of a crowded gym floor.

We’re not a membership gym. We’re not a class studio. We don’t do drop-ins. Every member is assessed, programmed, and coached one-to-one by a senior trainer, the same trainer, every week, with a written plan reviewed monthly. That continuity is the most important thing we offer; it’s also the hardest thing in the industry to find.

How we train.

Our practice is built on three pillars, strength and conditioning, contrast recovery, and metabolic health, that we coach as one integrated programme, not three separate services.

Strength and conditioning is programmed for the things that matter at 70: joint integrity, bone density, lean muscle. We use heavy resistance, controlled range, slow tempo. Long-game training, not chasing one-rep maxes.

Recovery, sauna and ice bath, is built into every training block, used in your weekly programme rather than sold as an add-on. They’re among the most-studied longevity tools in the literature, and for a reason: used well, they help you train harder, recover faster, and stay healthier across decades.

Metabolic health, body composition, nutrition, sleep, lifestyle, is measured monthly and adjusted as you progress. Decisions based on data, not vibes.

How to begin.

We work by appointment and application only. Every prospective member begins with a complimentary 20-minute Discovery Call to discuss your goals and schedule. If we’re a good fit, you’re invited to a Discovery & Assessment session at the studio (£150, fully credited against your first training block), movement screening, body composition, goal mapping, and an outline of your first programme. You’ll experience exactly how we work before committing to a block.
